Mongolia's forex reserves drop to 5.8 bln USD

ULAN BATOR, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) -- Mongolia's foreign exchange reserves dropped to 5.8 billion U.S. dollars as of the end of November 2025, according to the country's central bank on Tuesday.

The figure represents a 0.42-percent decrease over the previous month and an increase of 6.83 percent since the beginning of this year, the Bank of Mongolia said in a statement.

The central bank expects to increase the country's foreign exchange reserves to 6.5 billion dollars in the medium term and up to 10 billion dollars in the long term.

According to the regulator, Mongolia's foreign exchange reserves stood at 5.9 billion dollars by the end of September 2025. Enditem
