KABUL, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) -- At least two people were killed and nine others injured in a traffic accident in southern Afghanistan's Uruzgan province, Bilal Urozgani, spokesperson for the provincial police, confirmed on Saturday.
The deadly accident occurred when a vehicle overturned on a main road, the official said.
The injured were transferred to the nearest hospital for medical treatment.
The official attributed the accident to reckless driving, warning that driver negligence on overcrowded and poorly maintained roads continues to take lives. Enditem
