JERUSALEM, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) -- Hapoel Jerusalem has signed former NBA forward Isaiah Mobley on a one-year contract with an option for a second season, the club announced Sunday.
"I am delighted to join a club that is clearly making huge strides towards the top of Europe. We have a great team and I hope to integrate quickly and contribute in any aspect I am asked to," said Mobley.
The 26-year-old power forward was selected 49th overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2022 NBA Draft.
He has played 23 NBA games with Cleveland and Philadelphia, averaging 2.6 points, 1.5 rebounds and 0.6 assists.
In August, he joined Turkish Super League side Manisa Basket. That same month, he also made his debut for the Bahamas national team at the 2025 FIBA AmeriCup tournament.
"Isaiah is a player with a diverse set of tools and the ability to contribute in multiple aspects of the game. He brings a combination of size, athleticism and game understanding, and can play in multiple positions on the forward line," Jerusalem head coach Yonathan Alon commented.
Jerusalem, which holds an 8-2 record in EuroCup Group A, will play away to second-placed Cedevita Olimpija of Slovenia on Tuesday. Enditem
