KIEV, Dec. 22 (Xinhua) -- A working group is being formed in the Ukrainian parliament to promptly address the issue of holding possible presidential elections during martial law, a senior lawmaker said on Monday.
David Arakhamia, parliamentary faction leader of the Servant of the People party, said on Telegram that discussions will include parliament representatives, the Central Election Commission, as well as non-governmental organizations involved in the electoral process.
Arakhamia pledged to announce the date and time of the meeting on the matter at a later stage.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said elections in Ukraine could be held within 60 to 90 days if the United States and Europe offer security guarantees. Enditem
