TEHRAN, Dec. 22 (Xinhua) -- Iran has test-launched a number of missiles in different parts of the country on Monday, the semi-official Fars news agency reported.
The missiles have been test-launched in Khorramabad, Mahabad, Isfahan, Tehran and Mashhad, Fars added, without giving further details.
Earlier on Monday, Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Army Amir Hatami said his forces are always ready to confront any threat, including asymmetric and irregular warfare, according to the official news agency IRNA.
Making the remarks during a visit to army units stationed in western Iran, Hatami added, "We are closely monitoring the enemy's every movement and will respond decisively to any malicious action." Enditem
