BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Dec. 30 (Xinhua) -- Brunei's gross domestic product (GDP) at constant prices recorded a marginal year-on-year increase of 0.03 percent in the third quarter (Q3) of 2025, according to Brunei's Department of Economic Planning and Statistics (DEPS).
The GDP rose from 4,875.3 million Brunei dollars (3,795.6 million U.S. dollars) in Q3 2024 to 4,876.8 million Brunei dollars (3,796.8 million dollars) in Q3 2025, according to DEPS.
According to the local daily Borneo Bulletin on Tuesday, the slight expansion was driven by growth in the oil and gas sector, which rose by 2.0 percent, while the non-oil and gas sector contracted by 1.8 percent over the same period. Enditem
