VLADIVOSTOK, Jan. 2 (Xinhua) -- Five people, including three children, died in a fire engulfing a two-storey house in the village of Suntar in northeast Russia's Yakutia region on Thursday night.
Six people and two pieces of equipment from the fire service were involved in extinguishing the blaze, said the Russian Emergencies Ministry's Main Directorate for the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) on Friday.
The cause of the fire was under investigation, with the identities and ages of the deceased yet to be disclosed. Enditem
