HANOI, Jan. 5 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam will issue electronic identification codes for real estate units starting March 1 to ensure transparency, consistency and effectiveness in state management, local daily VnEconomy reported Monday.
The codes will be applied to apartments, individual houses and floor areas within construction projects.
Each code is an alphanumeric string with a maximum length of 40 characters, said the report.
The identification codes will be automatically generated through the database for housing and the real estate market. Enditem
