MADRID, Jan, 5 (Xinhua) -- FC Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has named central defender Ronald Araujo in a 24-man squad for this week's Spanish Super Cup in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Araujo has been out for the past month due to mental fatigue, with the club granting him permission to travel to Israel as he sought to regain his focus.
Flick has also called up three players from Barcelona's B team to complete the group, with attacking midfielder Pedro Fernandez, defensive midfielder Tommy Marques and left back Jofre Torrents all making the trip.
Barcelona faces Athletic Club in the first semifinal on Wednesday night. Athletic is hampered by a long injury list, including defenders Aymeric Laporte, Yuri Berchiche and Unai Egiluz, along with midfielder Benat Prados and forward Maroan Sannadi.
Real Madrid plays Atletico Madrid in Thursday's second semifinal, with the final on Sunday. Enditem
