HANOI, Jan. 6 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's total foreign direct investment disbursement in 2025 reached an estimated 27.62 billion U.S. dollars, up 9 percent year on year and the highest level recorded during the 2021-2025 period, local daily VnEconomy reported Tuesday.
Manufacturing and processing led the disbursement with 22.88 billion dollars, followed by real estate at 1.93 billion dollars and power and gas production and distribution at 914.9 million dollars, said the report, citing the National Statistics Office of Vietnam.
Total registered FDI, including newly registered capital, adjusted capital and capital contributions for share purchases, stood at 38.42 billion dollars in the year, edging up 0.5 percent from 2024.
Singapore topped the list of foreign investors with 4.84 billion dollars. Enditem
