KUALA LUMPUR -- Giant pandas "Chen Xing" and "Xiao Yue" from China officially met the Malaysian public here on Saturday.

SEOUL -- South Korean President Lee Jae Myung on Saturday ordered a joint military-police probe into the possibility that the drone cited in the "drone infiltration" claim by the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) was civilian-operated, warning that if confirmed, it would constitute a grave criminal offense, Yonhap News Agency reported.

SEOUL -- A wildfire that broke out in Uiseong County, southeastern South Korea, was largely brought under control within three hours on Saturday, Yonhap News agency reported.
Uiseong County Mayor Kim Ju-soo said the main blaze was extinguished at around 6 p.m. local time. As of 4:30 p.m., the wildfire had affected about 59 hectares of land, with a fire line stretching 3.39 km. (SKorea-Wild Fire)

HONG KONG -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.7 jolted 240 km NNW of Tobelo, Indonesia at 14:58:25 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
