TOKYO, Jan. 19 (Xinhua) -- Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi will hold a press conference at 6 p.m. local time on Monday to explain the dissolution of the House of Representatives, Kyodo News reported.
Takaichi last week informed the ruling camp of her intention to dissolve the lower house at an early stage of the Diet session starting on Jan. 23 and call a snap election. Enditem
