KIEV -- Russia's air raids caused large-scale power and water supply disruptions in Ukraine's capital of Kiev on Tuesday, said Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
A total of 5,635 apartment buildings in Kiev were left without heating following Russia's overnight aerial attacks, Klitschko wrote on social media Telegram. (Ukraine-Russian Raid)

MOSCOW -- The U.S. attack on Venezuela constituted a "gross armed incursion" that left dozens dead and injured, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at his annual press conference on Tuesday.
"I have already mentioned how tumultuously this year began. We witnessed unprecedented events, a gross armed incursion by the United States into Venezuela that left dozens dead and injured, as well as the seizure and deportation of the country's legitimate president, Nicolas Maduro, and his wife," he said. TEHRAN -- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said Monday that what took place in Iran over the past days was in continuation of the "failed bids" by the United States and Israel, according to a statement published on the website of the Iranian president's office.
Pezeshkian made the remarks in a phone call with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. He reiterated that the Iranian government is committed to promoting convergence, solidarity and unity among all Iranian groups, parties, ethnicities and religions, as well as relations with neighboring and Muslim states.
