HANOI, Jan. 23 (Xinhua) -- To Lam was re-elected general secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee on Friday.
The first plenary session of the 14th CPV Central Committee also voted for the CPV Political Bureau, Secretariat and Inspection Commission on Friday, according to a communique after the meeting.
Tran Cam Tu was assigned as the permanent member of the Secretariat of the CPV's 14th Central Committee.
The 19-member Political Bureau includes To Lam, Chairman of the National Assembly Tran Thanh Man, Tran Cam Tu and Le Minh Hung, currently head of the CPV Central Committee's Organization Commission. Enditem
