TEHRAN, Feb. 3 (Xinhua) -- A huge fire erupted at a market in the Iranian capital Tehran on Tuesday morning, the official news agency IRNA reported.
The fire broke out in the Jannat Abad neighborhood in western Tehran and was reported at 09:55 a.m. local time (0625 GMT), prompting firefighters from five stations to rush to the scene, IRNA quoted Tehran Fire Department spokesman Jalal Maleki as saying.
The cause of the blaze remains under investigation, and the fire originated from a shed with an area of about 2,000 square meters, said Maleki.
Shervin Tabrizi, a spokesman for Tehran's emergency medical services organization, said four ambulances and an ambulance bus were dispatched to transfer those wounded to the hospital. Enditem
