TEHRAN -- Iran's Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said on Tuesday Iran is determined to reach a "fair and equitable" deal with the United States as soon as possible, noting that the two countries "have a historic opportunity to strike an unprecedented agreement."

BEIRUT -- Lebanon has been warned that any involvement by Hezbollah in a potential confrontation between the United States and Iran could trigger Israeli strikes on critical infrastructure in Lebanon, Foreign Minister Youssef Rajji said on Tuesday.

KHARTOUM -- At least 28 civilians were killed and 39 others injured in an attack by the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) on the town of Mustariha in North Darfur State, the Sudan Doctors Network, a volunteer medical group, announced on Tuesday.
