SEOUL, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) -- South Korea's central bank on Thursday revised up the Asian economy's growth outlook for 2026 by 0.2 percentage points.
Real gross domestic product (GDP), adjusted for inflation, was forecast to increase 2.0 percent in 2026, up from an expansion of 1.8 percent estimated three months earlier, according to the Bank of Korea (BOK).
The upward revision came amid the semiconductor-led export boom and active facility investment.
The real GDP was expected to grow 1.8 percent in 2027, while the consumer price index was projected to rise 2.2 percent this year and 2.0 percent next year. Enditem
