GAZA -- Two Palestinians were killed and four others injured on Thursday in an Israeli airstrike in the Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City, according to Palestinian sources.
Eyewitnesses reported that an Israeli drone fired a missile at a group of Palestinians in a park in the Tuffah neighborhood.

DAMASCUS -- Syrian interim authorities said Thursday that they had completed a prisoner and hostage exchange in the southern province of Sweida that led to the release of dozens of civilians, describing the move as part of ongoing efforts to calm tensions after months of unrest in the region.
Interior authority's spokesman Noureddin al-Baba said to state media that the operation resulted in the freedom of 86 Syrian families, including 25 civilians who had been abducted and held by armed groups.
