WASHINGTON, Feb. 27 (Xinhua) -- U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio will visit Israel early next week, the U.S. State Department said Friday in a statement.
Rubio is scheduled to visit Israel on Monday and Tuesday to "discuss a range of regional priorities including Iran, Lebanon, and ongoing efforts to implement President Trump's 20-Point Peace Plan for Gaza," said the statement.
Earlier on Friday, the State Department authorized the departure of non-emergency U.S. government personnel and their families from Israel due to safety risks. Enditem
