DUBAI, March 6 (Xinhua) -- Residents in several areas of Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), reported hearing explosions after receiving mobile phone alerts around noon on Friday, warning of potential missile threats.
Alerts issued by the UAE Ministry of Interior urged residents and visitors to seek immediate shelter in the nearest secure building and to stay away from windows, doors and open areas while awaiting further instructions. Enditem
