BERLIN, March 14 (Xinhua) -- Two coach buses carrying mostly students collided on a motorway near the town of Irschenberg in the southern German state of Bavaria on Saturday, injuring one child, police said.
The accident occurred around 12:30 p.m. local time (1130 GMT) near the acceleration lane of the Irschenberg interchange. The injured child was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Both buses were carrying roughly 80 people in total. All passengers were temporarily taken to Irschenberg, and no further injuries have been reported.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Authorities temporarily closed the motorway, causing several km of traffic congestion. Enditem
