ABU DHABI, March 17 (Xinhua) -- One person was killed by shrapnel in the Bani Yas area of Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, following the interception of a ballistic missile, authorities said on Tuesday.
Authorities said the incident occurred after air defence systems intercepted an incoming ballistic missile, with debris falling in the Bani Yas area.
The victim was a Pakistani national, according to officials. Enditem
