VIENNA, March 17 (Xinhua) -- Four people were killed and another seriously injured after scaffolding collapsed on Tuesday afternoon in Vienna's Alsergrund district, Austrian broadcaster ORF reported.
According to the fire brigade, parts of the scaffolding and formwork broke off at around 2:30 p.m. (1330 GMT) during concreting work in an old building and fell into the building's inner courtyard, burying the workers beneath the debris.
A 45-year-old worker was seriously injured and rushed to hospital for treatment, the report said. Enditem
