TEHRAN, March 17 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Supreme National Security Council confirmed on Tuesday that its secretary Ali Larijani has been killed, Iranian media reported.
In a statement, the council said Larijani was killed during the holy month of Ramadan after years of service to Iran, according to the media reports.
The council said Larijani died alongside his son and several others in an attack. Enditem
