KABUL, April 15 (Xinhua) -- The counter-narcotics police discovered 137 pieces of mortar mines in eastern Afghanistan's Kunar province on Tuesday, said a statement of the provincial police office on Wednesday.
The ordnance was found in a village in Chawkay district, the statement said, without giving more details.
Previously, police reported the discovery and seizure of 26 assault rifles in Paktia province on Saturday. Enditem
