RIYADH, April 20 (Xinhua) -- Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud met with Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Sudan's army chief and head of Sudan's ruling council Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), in Jeddah on Monday to discuss the latest developments in Sudan.
Both sides emphasized the importance of ensuring Sudan's security and stability, as well as preserving its sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
Sudan has entered the fourth year of war between the Sudanese Armed Forces and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces. Since erupting on April 15, 2023, the war has killed tens of thousands, displaced millions, and ruined the economy. Enditem
