ISLAMABAD -- The meeting between Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi was held here on Saturday, according to the Prime Minister's Office.
The office said Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir also attended the meeting. (Pakistan-Iran)

KABUL -- More than 120 million U.S. dollars have been invested in the battery production sector in Afghanistan, the official Radio and Television of Afghanistan (RTA) has reported.

MANILA -- Philippine business confidence for March and the next quarter declined amid concerns that rising fuel costs due to the Middle East conflict will dampen consumer spending, according to the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) survey released Friday.

KABUL -- More than 12 million children in Afghanistan have been vaccinated against polio over the past year, achieving a coverage rate of 98 percent, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said, according to local media Tolonews on Saturday.
