JERUSALEM, May 14 (Xinhua) -- An explosive drone launched from Lebanon struck a parking lot at Rosh HaNikra National Park in northern Israel on Thursday, injuring three civilians, Israeli authorities said.
The local medical center said that two of the wounded were in serious condition, while the third sustained minor injuries.
The Israeli military said no sirens were activated before the strike. It noted the drone was launched by Hezbollah, calling the attack "a blatant violation" of the ceasefire in Lebanon.
Hezbollah did not immediately comment.
The attack came amid an expanding Israeli ground offensive in southern Lebanon and daily airstrikes. Hezbollah has responded with drone and rocket attacks on Israeli forces and northern Israel. Lebanon's Health Ministry said on Wednesday that 2,896 people had been killed and 8,824 injured since the current round of fighting began on March 2. Enditem
