CARACAS, May 21 (Xinhua) -- Alex Arce netted a hat-trick as Independiente Rivadavia continued its impressive form with a 4-2 away win over Deportivo La Guaira in the Copa Libertadores group stage on Thursday.
Paraguayan striker Arce opened the scoring in the 19th minute in Caracas and added two second-half goals as the Argentine side secured its fourth win of the campaign.
Rivadavia's Colombian winger Sebastian Villa was also on target while Diego Osio and Juan Castellanos struck for the Venezuelan outfit.
Arce has now scored eight times in five games this Libertadores campaign and is the tournament's leading scorer.
The result leaves Independiente Rivadavia top of Group C with 13 points from five outings, eight ahead of second-placed Bolivar. Deportivo La Guaira is last in the group, having yet to register a win. Enditem
