NEW DELHI, May 22 (Xinhua) -- India and Cyprus on Friday signed several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) in the fields of counter-terrorism, research and innovation, education, and culture, in New Delhi.
The MoUs were signed in the presence of visiting Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The two leaders held bilateral and delegation-level talks.
The Cypriot president was on a four-day state visit to India. During the visit, the two countries decided to lift the bilateral relationship to the level of a strategic partnership. Enditem
