JERUSALEM, June 2 (Xinhua) -- Israel's defense exports reached a record 19.2 billion U.S. dollars in 2025, a year-on-year increase of about 30 percent, according to an annual report issued by the Israeli Defense Ministry on Tuesday.

The figure shows a steep growth trend, with defense exports more than doubling over the past five years and quadrupling over the last decade, the ministry said.

Missile, rocket and air-defense systems represented 29 percent of total exports, while surveillance and electro-optical systems rose sharply to 22 percent.

Manned aircraft and avionics, as well as radar and electronic warfare systems, each accounted for 11 percent.

Over half of the contracts signed in 2025 were worth at least 100 million dollars.

Europe remained Israel's top defense export market at 36 percent, while Asia-Pacific's share jumped from 23 percent in 2024 to 32 percent last year. The Middle East and North Africa accounted for 15 percent. Enditem
