PHNOM PENH, June 5 (Xinhua) -- Cambodia's milled rice exports generated 327.4 million U.S. dollars in the first five months of 2026, marking a 30 percent rise from the 252.3 million dollars recorded during the same period last year, the Cambodia Rice Federation (CRF) said in a news release on Friday.
The Southeast Asian country exported a total of 568,912 tonnes of the commodity during the January-May period this year, up 65 percent from 344,199 tonnes recorded during the same period last year, the news release added.
Sixty-one companies had shipped the kingdom's milled rice to 63 countries and regions, the news release said, adding that the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), China, and the European Union were the main importers of the Cambodian rice. Enditem
