KABUL, June 13 (Xinhua) -- Construction work on 50 infrastructure projects is underway or about to begin in eastern Afghanistan's Laghman province over the next nine months, the official Bakhtar News Agency reported on Saturday.
The projects will cover key sectors, including health, agriculture, and education, Bakhtar quoted Khalil Rahman Sadiqi, provincial director of economy, as saying.
The projects are expected to generate hundreds of local jobs and improve living conditions for thousands of residents. Enditem
