GENEVA -- An Iranian delegation landed in Switzerland late Saturday for talks with the United States at the Burgenstock resort to halt the conflict in the Middle East.

"We welcome the arrival of the Iranian delegation in Switzerland," the Swiss foreign ministry said on X, adding that the Iranian delegation is on its way to the Burgenstock resort as part of the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the United States and Iran. WASHINGTON -- U.S. President Donald Trump said on Saturday that no tolls would be charged in the Strait of Hormuz during the 60-day interim ceasefire with Iran or after the period expires.

WASHINGTON -- U.S. Central Command said on Saturday that the Strait of Hormuz remained open, with increasing commercial ship traffic through the waterway.

HAVANA -- Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla said Saturday that U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio was lying and contradicting U.S. President Donald Trump by denying Washington's oil blockade against Cuba.
