BERLIN, June 29 (Xinhua) -- Gunshots were heard on Monday afternoon in the city of Stade in the state of Lower Saxony in Germany. It had led to five casualties, media reported.
A German police speaker was quoted as saying that two suspects have been caught. The incident took place in the downtown of Stade. All the dead were adults and several others were injured, according to German media BILD.
German media FOCUS reported that people witnessed a man and a woman trying to drive to escape, the police followed and tried to stop them by shooting.
