TEHRAN -- Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Kazem Gharibabadi on Wednesday announced the conclusion of talks in Qatar on the implementation of a peace memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States.
Leading a delegation from the Foreign Ministry, Central Bank, and Agriculture Ministry, Gharibabadi said that the Iranian team held talks with Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani in the morning and then attended two meetings with Qatari and Pakistani delegations, according to the official news agency IRNA. RAMALLAH -- The Palestinian government on Wednesday rejected any arrangements to transfer tax revenues withheld by Israel to the Board of Peace established by U.S. President Donald Trump.
According to Mohammed Abu al-Rub, director of the Palestinian Government Communication Center, the tax revenues constitute 68 percent of Palestine's income. (Palestine-Israel-Tax Revenues)

BEIRUT -- The Israeli army has installed crossing gates along the border and continued military activities in southern Lebanon, Lebanon's National News Agency (NNA) reported Wednesday.
The gates were established between the so-called "yellow line," the border area, and the region south of the Litani River as part of military measures being implemented along the border, the NNA reported, adding that Israeli forces also opened fire on a vehicle, bulldozed a road, and cut down trees along the border area, causing extensive damage. JERUSALEM -- The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has lowered its forecast for Israel's economic growth in 2026 to 3.5 percent, down from its previous 4.8 percent estimate.
