TEHRAN -- Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Kazem Gharibabadi on Wednesday announced the conclusion of talks in Qatar on the implementation of a peace memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Iran and the United States.

Leading a delegation from the Foreign Ministry, Central Bank, and Agriculture Ministry, Gharibabadi said that the Iranian team held talks with Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani in the morning and then attended two meetings with Qatari and Pakistani delegations, according to the official news agency IRNA. CARACAS -- The death toll from the two powerful earthquakes that struck Venezuela on June 24 has risen to 2,295, while the number of injured has climbed to 11,267, Venezuelan National Assembly President Jorge Rodriguez said Wednesday.

BEIRUT -- Israeli military activities continued across southern Lebanon on Wednesday, with drone strikes, artillery shelling, explosions, and other military operations reported in several areas, according to Lebanon's state-run National News Agency (NNA).
