MANILA -- Two passengers and the driver of a tricycle were killed, while three other passengers were seriously injured after the vehicle collided head-on with a sport utility vehicle in Sarangani province, southern Philippines, on Saturday, according to a local media report on Sunday.
Local police said the tricycle was carrying six people at the time of the accident. Three victims were declared dead upon arrival by nearby physicians, and three injured tricycle riders are now being treated at a hospital. (Philippines-Road Accident)

KABUL -- The Da Afghanistan Bank, Afghanistan's central bank, will auction up to 16 million U.S. dollars on Monday as part of its ongoing efforts to support the stability of the national currency, the afghani, the central bank said in a statement on Sunday.

NEW DELHI -- At least six fishermen have gone missing after a fishing boat carrying them was suspected to have capsized off the Visakhapatnam coast in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, officials said Sunday.

DHAKA -- Bangladesh's export earnings slipped 0.58 percent to roughly 48 billion U.S. dollars in the just-concluded 2025-26 fiscal year (July 2025-June 2026).
