DA NANG, Vietnam, July 12 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam's Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026 concluded in the central city of Da Nang on Saturday night with a grand finale.
The festival ran from May 30 to July 11 under the theme of "Da Nang - United Horizons," featuring 10 teams from China, France, Japan, Italy, Germany, China's Macao, Portugal, Australia and two Vietnamese squads.
Jointly organized by the municipal People's Committee and Sun Group, the festival drew hundreds of thousands of visitors to Da Nang, with more than 557,000 tourist arrivals staying overnight during the five qualifying nights, up 34 percent year on year, the Vietnam News Agency said.
Since its debut in 2008, DIFF has evolved from a fireworks competition into a major international festival featuring world-class pyrotechnic teams, live music and multimedia performances, according to local media. Enditem
