ABUJA -- At least eight people, including three children, were killed after unidentified gunmen attacked a rural community in Nigeria's central state of Benue, police said Monday.

SEOUL -- South Korea's former President Yoon Suk-yeol on Monday was sentenced to two years in prison for the political funds act violation linked to receiving illegal polling services, according to local media.
