HANOI, July 14 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam aims to publish 100 percent of newly issued legal documents and consolidated legal documents on its National Legal Portal, an official government legal information website, the Vietnam News Agency reported Tuesday.
The target was included in a development plan for the National Legal Portal for the 2026-2030 period, which was approved on Monday by Deputy Prime Minister Le Tien Chau, said the report.
The plan also calls for English translations of selected legal documents related to the lives, employment and business activities of foreigners and foreign enterprises to be made available on the website, the report added.
Under the plan, the portal will serve as the country's unified digital legal platform, providing centralized and timely access to legal documents, information on lawmaking and law enforcement, and other official legal resources for citizens and businesses.
In addition, the portal is expected to function as a platform for policy consultation, allowing experts, businesses and the public to provide feedback on draft laws and regulations, while integrating legal databases and applying artificial intelligence to improve legal services. Enditem
