SYDNEY, July 18 (Xinhua) -- A man died after a two-vehicle crash on the Sydney Harbor Bridge Saturday afternoon, police in the Australian state of New South Wales (NSW) said.
Emergency services were called to the Bradfield Highway, Sydney Harbor Bridge, about 12:40 p.m. following reports of a crash, NSW police said in a statement.
Officers were told two vehicles had collided.
NSW Ambulance paramedics and police performed CPR on a driver, a man aged in his 70s, before he was stabilized and taken to hospital in a critical condition.
NSW Police confirmed the man died in hospital. He was yet to be formally identified.
The crash caused major traffic delays across the Sydney Harbor Bridge.
