HANOI, Aug. 1 (Xinhua) -- The Politburo of the 14th Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee has renamed the Central Commission for Information, Education and Mass Mobilization as the Central Commission for Information and Education, the Vietnam News Agency reported on Saturday.
The change took effect on Saturday under a decision signed on Friday.
Under the decision, advisory functions and responsibilities related to mass mobilization will be transferred from the commission to the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and central mass organizations, said the report. Enditem
