KIEV, Aug. 3 (Xinhua) -- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Monday appointed new national security and foreign intelligence chiefs, according to decrees published on the presidential website.
Ihor Klymenko was appointed secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council, while Rustem Umerov was named the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service.
Klymenko formerly served as Interior Minister, while Umerov recently headed the National Security and Defense Council after serving as defense minister. Enditem
