RIO DE JANEIRO -- At least 10 people were killed after a tourist bus overturned early Sunday near the city of Petropolis in Brazil's southeastern state of Rio de Janeiro, the state fire department said.
According to a fire department bulletin, the crash occurred at around 4:30 a.m. local time as the bus, carrying dozens of tourists, was traveling down a mountainous road near Petropolis. (Brazil-Bus Accident)

CAIRO -- The foreign ministers of eight countries on Sunday condemned Israel's declared rejection of a roadmap for completing the Gaza peace plan.
"Such rejection confirms that Israel now bears responsibility for obstructing the efforts to bring peace in Gaza," the foreign ministers of Egypt, Qatar, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Türkiye and Saudi Arabia said in a joint statement. (Israel-Gaza-Peace Plan)

JERUSALEM -- The Israeli military carried out airstrikes in the Gaza Strip on Sunday, killing at least two people, according to Israeli sources.
The military said in a statement that the strikes, in Khan Younis in southern Gaza and the area of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, targeted two militants from Islamic Jihad and Hamas. Israel's state-owned Army Radio reported that the two were killed. (Israel-Gaza-Airstrike) Enditem
