Russia strikes Ukraine's largest military data center

MOSCOW, Sept. 17 (Xinhua) -- Russian forces' overnight attacks hit the largest data center supporting operations of servers used for Ukrainian military purposes, including processing, transfer and storage of data as well as intelligence, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Thursday.

According to official information, several drone production and storage facilities were also hit in Kiev and the surrounding region. A steel mill and an electronics assembly plant were struck in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Regarding maritime targets, the strikes hit a dry cargo ship delivering military supplies in the port of Chernomorsk, another dry cargo ship delivering military equipment to the port of Odessa, the Artsiz power substation supporting the port of Izmail and two road bridges across the Dniester River used for the transit of military cargo.

In a separate statement, the ministry said that Russian forces have also seized the settlement of Malaya Volchya in the Kharkov region and Rozovka in the Zaporizhzhia region. Enditem
