Chinese acrobats have won the golden prize at the fourth World Circus Art Festival held in Moscow. The Zhejiang Acrobatic Troupe performed "Arhat's Headstand" to win the laurel among more than two-dozen programs competing for the prize last Sunday.

This was the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Russian State Circus Company, so this session of the World Festival of Circus Art was larger in scale compared to previous ones.

Twenty-six acrobatic or circus programs from eighteen countries competed for the top trophy. Many of the acrobats had previously won awards in distinguished competitions in France, Italy, and Monte Carlo.

Even with the stiff competition, the program by the Zhejiang Acrobatic Troupe still seemed spectacular. The program called "Arhat's Headstand" sees a group of young men showing superb headstand skills. Along with the mind-boggling skills, the show dazzled judges with an exciting combination of acrobatics and Chinese Kungfu to win the top prize of the night.

The World Circus Art Festival in Russia is a major event in the world acrobatic scene, and Chinese acrobats have won quite a few awards in this event, but this is the first time to win gold.

And China can also celebrate with four girl acrobatic troupe from Fujian province , which won the silver award at the event.
