More than 100 overseas guests from the film industry will take part in the 13th "Beijing Screenings", a program that promotes Chinese films in overseas markets, according to the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT).

A total of 62 Chinese films, including commercial blockbusters such as veteran director Chen Kaige's "Forever Enthralled" and the all-star epic "The Founding of A Republic" and small-budget art films like "Red River" and "Duel for Love", will be screened from October 27 to 30.

According to the organizing committee, the overseas guests will include film distributors, producers, critics and experts.

The "Beijing Screenings," first held in 1996 by the SARFT, is a key program to promote Chinese films in the overseas market. Since 1996, the activity has helped hundreds of Chinese films enter cinemas in more than 70 foreign countries and regions.
