Expo visitors can expect one more show in the lineup. Song Zuying, one of China's best-known sopranos, will hold a concert in Shanghai on the first day of the 2010 Shanghai World Expo.

The show has been named "Charming China". Song Zuying told the local Oriental Morning Post that she is not performing to promote her own image. Instead, she regards the World Expo as an opportunity to share Chinese music with the world.

The 2010 Shanghai World Expo opens on May 1, and runs through to October 31. The Expo organizing committee expects an estimated 70 million visitors.

On the poster for Song's concert are names of Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, Chinese pianist Lang Lang and pop king Jay Chou, although none of the guests have been confirmed.

The finalized guest lineup will be announced on March 16, the Oriental Morning Post reports. Tickets will be available at the same time.

Song Zuying, 43, boasts a bel canto repertoire that includes popular songs like "Good Day" and "Love My China".

Song Zuying has sung in prestigious venues such as Sydney Opera House, Vienna Golden Hall, and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

On June 30, 2009, Song Zuying held a concert at the Bird's Nest in Beijing, supported by the presence of Lang Lang, Jay Chou, as well as Placido Domingo. The show received widespread media coverage.

Song Zuying was a Grammy nominee in 2006.
