Jet Li visits drought-hit SW China

Action movie star Jet Li, and staff of "Jet Li One Foundation" visited Mohei town in Puer city of southwestern China's Yunnan Province, on Wednesday, April 7, 2010, Ent.sina.com reports.

 

Film star Jet Li plants coffee plant seedlings to help those suffering from the drought in southwestern China. [CRI]

Li along with actor Wen Zhang and some staffers from the charity organization spoke to locals who are suffering from the drought in southwestern China. They donated drinking water and brought plant seedlings of coffee and grape for the locals.

The "Red Cross Society of China Jet Li One Foundation Project" (Jet Li One Foundation) was founded in 2007 by Red Cross ambassador Jet Li, under a strategic partnership with the Red Cross Society of China.
